The Role

The Director of Digital Marketing is a strategic leader responsible for orchestrating and optimizing Hitachi Vantara's global digital marketing presence. This role involves crafting sophisticated, data-driven marketing campaigns and programs designed to generate high-quality leads, foster inbound inquiries, across all digital channels. The Director will champion a culture of continuous improvement by establishing robust metrics and testing frameworks to assess campaign effectiveness and refine strategies for optimal performance.

What you'll bring:

Strategic Leadership• Architect and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with global sales goals.• Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure digital marketing initiatives deliver measurable results.• Pioneer innovative targeting and segmentation strategies to enhance campaign reach and engagement.• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.Campaign Execution & Optimization:• Spearhead the development and execution of multi-channel digital campaigns, including Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives.• Conceptualize and manage engaging digital programs, such as webinars and interactive content experiences.• Establish and manage rigorous testing protocols to optimize campaign performance and drive continuous improvement.• Oversee Marketo-driven marketing automation workflows to nurture leads and drive conversions.Digital Channel Management:• Oversee the creation and optimization of demand generation website content, landing pages, and other digital assets aimed at driving lead creation.• Drive the demand generation strategy and execution of digital media campaigns, including media buying, planning, and performance analysis to boost pipeline growth.• Champion the refinement of the customer's digital journey to ensure a seamless and engaging experience that fosters lead conversion.• Leverage social media platforms strategically to accelerate lead capture and pipeline creation.Team Leadership & Development:• Provide inspirational leadership and mentorship to a team of digital marketing professionals.• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.• Identify and implement training and development opportunities to upskill the team.Knowledge and Skills:• Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to translate marketing objectives into actionable digital strategies.• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of digital marketing technologies and analytics platforms.• Data-Driven Decision Making: Proven ability to leverage data insights to optimize campaign performance.• Leadership & Collaboration: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.• Proficiency with Marketing Tools: Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, Marketo Engage, Bombora, LinkedIn InMail, and Sales Navigator is highly desirable.Education and Experience:• Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, Marketing, or a related field.• 10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, showcasing a track record of successful campaign leadership and execution.

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts in, the expected compensation for this role is $200K-230K base + 15-20% bonus. The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara's sales target incentive pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
