As the Director, Channel Marketing for the Stoves Business Unit, this role supports the vision and goals by delivering value to, with, through and for HHT stove trade partners. The scope of this role includes developing and implementing strategic marketing programs and go-to-market communications that build strong partner relationships while driving growth for our new Forge & Flame brand.

What you will do:

Channel EngagementDevelop and lead channel enablement initiatives that create alignment with our trade partners while shaping our go-to-market execution.Redefine clear and compelling trade programs that our dealer business partners will champion while solidifying strong local partners for our stove brands.Strategic Marketing

Develop partner programs across all channels (including specialty hearth retailer, wholesale, DIY, or home improvement retail) to deliver SBU goals.Execute marketing plans to meet established growth targets.Nurture partner marketing capabilities with programs that carry brand experience to the local level (co-op, displays, merchandising).Identify promotional needs, implement plans, and coordinate brand building activities with and through trade channel partners.Drive a point-of-view for national and regional events and trade show attendance.Evangelize the modern consumer buying journey to influence our marketing strategies alongside channel partner's needs.Work closely with sales teams to ensure the development of marketing tools contributing to growth initiatives and selling needs.Review, lead and collaborate with all teams delivering content to trade partners through myyHHT.com and beyond to ensure relevancy and accuracy of tone.Develop critical KPI's and a reporting system to track effectiveness of trade marketing programs.Connection

Prioritized time "in the field" and with leadership to be the conduit from the trade to core business unit strategies.Model the values and practices of HHT and HNI.When beneficial to the position, participate in strategic alliances and professional organizations to ensure that HHT is visible and properly placed within the industry.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 10 years of progressively responsible, successful, and balanced experience and leadership in marketing strategies, including channel and trade marketing; retail store development; and brand managementDemonstrated ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business unit teamsHome, building products and/or hearth industry experience preferredStrategic - think both long-term and short-term to develop impactful channel marketing plansInfluence - ability to challenge the norms in an indirect but impactful way, does not shy away from conflictLeadership - ability to lead cross-functionally to drive success and commitmentsCommunication - requires excellent communications both written and verbal and at many levels with strategy documents, marketing information, etc. Requires confident public speaking abilities in front of large audiences. Ability to communicate at broad based strategic level as well as detailed tactical level.Organization - ability to multi-task and clearly prioritize and deselect priorities.Sense of Urgency - self-motivated and directed, ability to work quickly and efficiently
