Our client, a large financial institution in NYC, is looking for a Digital Designer for a permalance contract that requires 2-days/week onsite in Downtown Manhattan. The positions require someone with a strong background in creating visually compelling and user-friendly designs for email campaigns, websites, intranets, and more. In this role, you will work closely with their marketing, content, and development teams to create designs that enhance user engagement and drive brand consistency across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of UX/UI principles, and experience working within brand guidelines to produce high-quality digital assets. This is a hybrid position and requires 2-days/week onsite in Downtown Manhattan and 3-days/week working remotely.
Responsibilities:Design visually appealing and responsive email templates that align with brand guidelines and drive engagement.Create and maintain website designs, ensuring consistency, usability, and a strong user experience across all devices.Develop and update intranet layouts and interfaces, improving user accessibility and content discoverability.Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and design digital assets for campaigns, including banners, landing pages, and social media graphics.Work with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and functionally across all digital platforms.Conduct usability tests and gather feedback to continuously improve design quality and user experienceStay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to keep our digital presence innovative and effective.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing work on emails, websites, and intranets.Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Sketch or Figma.Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices for web and email design.Experience with HTML/CSS and the ability to work closely with developers to translate designs into code.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Knowledge of accessibility standards and the ability to design with inclusivity in mind is a plus.A background working with financial institutions a huge plus but not required.If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
