Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Address: 825 S 169th St - Omaha, NEThe Marketing VP is responsible for the overall direction, management, and coordination of marketing, and communications for Methodist Health System (MHS) and its affiliates. This role includes developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and advertising strategies, overseeing brand management, market research, and market expansion initiatives. Key responsibilities encompass crafting marketing plans across all media, collateral, and special events, as well as managing messaging strategies and internal communications. The VP will also oversee the public relations function and ensure structured internal communications.Responsibilities:Essential Job Functions:

Develop and implement strategic marketing plans: Create and oversee strategic marketing plans for Methodist Health System and each affiliate, collaborating with affiliate leadership and key stakeholders in support of strategic goals.Lead executive communications, branding, and advertising: Develop and manage executive communications and branding initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy and organizational goals.Ensure consistent messaging and brand standards: Oversee the development and distribution of all customer-facing materials and marketing collateral, ensuring they convey a consistent message and meet brand standards.Oversee public relations and social media management: Manage the public relations functions for Methodist Health System, advising on media relations, crisis communications, and supporting system personnel in responding to media requests.Execute internal communication and employer branding: Create and implement a robust internal communication process and roadmap for stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across the organization.Foster internal and external partnerships: Build and maintain close partnerships with the executive team, especially Human Resources and Employee Resource Groups.Collaborate with vendors on content creation and improvement: Partner with external vendors to develop, create, and enhance a wide range of content, including digital media, advertising materials, publications, and promotional campaigns.Evolve digital presence and intranet engagement: Coordinate the ongoing evolution of the Health System's digital marketing strategy and intranet.Contribute to senior leadership decisions: As a senior leadership team member, provide regular input into the strategic planning and allocation process.Develop and execute service line growth plans: Develop strategic initiatives aimed at growing key service lines.Manage and develop staff: Establish and maintain a competent, capable, engaged and motivated team.Oversee budgets and organizational values: Develop and manage annual staffing and operational budgets.Job RequirementsEducation

Knowledge of advanced marketing, and multiple media strategies normally acquired through a Master's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field required.Experience

Minimum 5-7 years progressively responsible experience in the areas of Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field required.Minimum 3-5 years Marketing experience in a healthcare facility preferred.License/Certifications

Knowledge and skills to successfully develop, and implement strategic marketing plans for a health system including hospitals, and physician clinics covering all types of media, communications, and special events.Knowledge and skills to adeptly manage an ongoing public relations strategy as well as critical incident events.Experience with the development, and management of an organization's digital marketing strategy to include website, social media and reputation management.Creative, and value driven experience developing, and implementing communications targeted to an internal audience of staff, physicians, volunteers, and leaders.Professional poise to interact with senior management, physicians, clinical, and non-clinical staff to communicate system news, and critical incident information.Excellent presentation skills to communicate messages to large groups, as well as one-on-one communications.Experience and knowledge of financial, and budgetary processes, and practices including revenue, expense, and capital expenditures, and financial accountability.Ability to use critical, and analytical thinking skills to manage problems, streamline processes, utilize innovative and creative approaches to resolve issues.Ability to process, and manage confidential information with discretion, and according to security, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) protocols.Ability to build, and maintain employee, patient, and physician satisfaction through collaboration, communication, and consistent service.Skilled in developing partnerships, and collaborating across community organizations.Physical RequirementsWeight Demands
