The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans to achieve or exceed the company's revenue goals. Marriott experience preferred. Must have a minimum of 5 years of hotel sales experience.
Responsibilities
Manage and lead the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Participate in weekly revenue management calls.
Recruit and train new sales leaders as needed.
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive business growth.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service.
Oversee account management activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify new business opportunities and lead business development efforts.
Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors.
Utilize technical sales knowledge to support the sales team.
Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to meet changing market demands.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a leadership role in sales and marketing.
Experience with large meeting space.
Strong understanding of customer service principles.
Demonstrated success in account management, outside sales, and business development.
Ability to negotiate effectively with clients and vendors.
Experience in technical sales is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of market trends and strategies.
