You will be a key member of a fast-growing organization that will support our wide range of categories through your expertise in managing editorial projects and team members.The 360 Reviews Senior Editor, Insurance is responsible for managing a team of freelancers and editors for our Insurance content. They will oversee content updates, including managing editorial calendars, content strategy, assignments, and deadlines. This position collaborates with an enthusiastic team of editors, product managers, research analysts, and SEO analysts.Are you up to the challenge?Our ideal candidate is dedicated, detail-oriented, curious, efficient, and a team player. As part of the job, you will:Manage a team of editors, freelancers, and other editorial staff.Provide day-to-day team support to ensure deadlines and goals are met.Create an update content calendar for insurance to ensure our content stays fresh and competitive.Collaborate with editors, SEO analysts, research analysts, product managers, and others over video conferences, emails, and instant messages.Ensure content and procedures meet our standards of top-quality, error-free work.Review product pages before publication.Perform competitive research, SEO research, and gap analyses to help shape content.Stay abreast of new trends, best practices, and Google algorithm updates as it relates to Insurance topics, content marketing, SEO, and lead generation.Use spreadsheets, tables, and other sets of data.Assist with hiring and training staff, hiring and onboarding freelancers, and providing ongoing coaching.Write and edit content using SEO best practices.Job RequirementsYou should definitely have:Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience of professional editing experience for a digital publication covering financial topics, insurance, or other consumer advice content; inclusive of one year of management experience of employees and/or freelancers.Experience managing a remote team.Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay flexible while consistently helping your team meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of SEO tools, including SEMRush.Journalism or related degree or equivalent experience.Expert writing and editing skills.Expertise and prior experience using AP style.Ability to quickly learn multiple, complex subjects concurrently.Experience with Searchmetrics, Google Analytics, Google Suite, Jira, and Airtable.Utmost attention to detail.Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills.Burning desire to help editors create high-quality, effective content.What It’s Like To Work With UsTalent is our best asset!
