OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

This includes content assignments, production, and coaching of staff. The EP oversees and is directly involved in the execution of enterprised reporting, breaking news coverage, online content, segments, and other assigned projects for FOX 4's linear and digital content. Responsibilities include overseeing enterprise shoots and segments, effectively supervising Producers, Reporters, Anchors, Associate Producers, Directors, and Assignment Editors. The EP must work with Production and Engineering to plan and execute linear and digital content and newscasts, including remotes, segments, and productions. Provide guidance for Reporters for story ideas, development, and execution. Oversee content selection and execution by Producers, Associate Producers, and performance by on-air Talent. Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Communication required. At least six (6) years in a top TV market experience required. Prior managerial/supervisory experience is a must. Must have knowledge and proficiency in newsroom systems. Must have experience and strong skill set in social media. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
