In this pivotal role, you will assume the responsibility of leading a group of designers, delegating tasks, and overseeing projects. Additionally, you will be instrumental in creating innovative and captivating spaces that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
Mentor, lead, and continually train the design team to inspire creativity, meet deadlines, complete projects, stay current with workplace trends, and ensure all team tasks are accomplished.
Collaborate with sales professionals to create cutting-edge design concepts and provide product recommendations to clients.
Produce precise and detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
Curate interior spaces by selecting products, textiles, fabrics, finishes, and accessories.
Apply knowledge of building codes and ADA regulations for interior spaces.
Efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting client deadlines.
Actively participate in client and project team meetings to present and refine design concepts.
Communicate effectively with the sales team and designers to ensure outstanding client experiences.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. A degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field is a bonus.
Experience in CET Configura for commercial spaces is a value add. Other helpful experience includes AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Strong mentoring skills and ability to lead, train, and direct the work of others.
Organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Passion for design and a desire to stay up to date with industry trends and innovations.
