Trinity Presbyterian Church, a vibrant, joyful and healthy congregation in beautiful San Carlos, CA, halfway between San Francisco and San Jose, is looking for our next Director of Music Ministries. She or he will love and be passionate about both contemporary praise and traditional Christian music and excited to bring the joy and beauty of both to our congregation. We currently have 1 worship service at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings and it is blended, leaning toward more contemporary half the weeks and more traditional half. This person will direct and lead our musicians by planning, coordinating, providing harmonies and directing our rehearsals.

At this point we have a 1 hour Sunday morning rehearsal, a 60 to 90 minute Thursday night rehearsal. This position will involve the direction of other periodic music ensembles as well (bells, adult and kids' choirs and youth ensembles.) This is a part-time position (15-25 hours a week depending on availability and program growth) and will pay between $35-45/ hour, depending on experience. Some benefits may be available. At least 2 years of experience teaching and leading music, preferably in worship services.Proven track record of effective communication, leadership, and mentoring.Strong faith in God and alignment with our organization's values and mission.Experience in recruiting, training, and mentoring volunteers.Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the church.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with people of all ages and backgrounds.Skills:
