Job Responsibilities

Involved with design, build, and test of cutting-edge analog and mixed-signal devices such as amplifiers, filters, and ADCs. Contribute to RF requirements analysis, definition, and management. Conduct functional analysis, performance analysis (e.g. Instantaneous Dynamic Range, Noise Figure, Pass Band Response, etc.), interface analysis, and definition for the design, integration, and verification of RF components, equipment, and systems.Responsible for leading group of engineers on a technical activity and completion of activity on time and budgetDesign, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystemsMay use computer-aided engineering or other design / analysis software in the performance of assignments. Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variableProvide budget, cost, and schedule input for design assignmentsSpecify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and servicesDrive the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirementsDevelop prototypes to retire key development risksCommunicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as requiredParticipate in preparation of proposalsProvide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnelLead and direct the work of others as assignedSupport, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationAttend appropriate engineering, customer, or business meetingsLead less-experienced engineers
