You will be responsible for researching, designing, innovating, and prototyping new user experiences that pave the way for the future of energy & electric vehicles. Our experiences are transforming the way consumers, businesses, and municipalities transition to EVs and sustainable energy.

As an intern of the UX Design organization, you will be at the forefront of transforming the digital landscape for Tesla's energy and vehicles across the globe. You will play a pivotal role in designing and innovating the end-to-end web user experiences that set new standards in the industry. You will collaborate with product managers, content managers, engineers and global partners as a key contributor and originator. You will conceptualize, design, and implement best-in-class digital and retail experiences to guide customers in making their orders. We expect exceptional design skills, creative problem-solving and a great sense of aesthetics. The experiences of Tesla.com are innovative, simple, and minimalistic.

Responsibilities

UI/UX design for enterprise softwareFocus on user centric design platformsLeverage user flows and visual designs such as UI elementsWork with other designers and software engineers to provide designs that showcase a strong message to the end-user through simple and effective messagingCommunicate effectively with the team to ensure all design efforts are widely influenced to drive business outcomesRequirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX, Human-Computer Interaction or related field of studyAn excellent portfolio showcasing user experience, visual design and UI work with a strong design sensibility and excellent, user centric storytellingExcellent visual, UI, and interaction skills, ability to think through complex interaction designMust be proficient and highly skilled in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and other design toolsCustomer-focused, with experience using design research methods to uncover customer insightsEffective written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated, able to work independently but also collaborative and driven by group critiqueAbility to perform in a fast paced, high stress iterative design process under minimal supervisionCompensation and BenefitsBenefits

$20.00 - $50.00, depending on level + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
