Events and Marketing Coordinator

at Umpqua Health plays a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events and marketing initiatives that align with the organization's mission and strategic goals. This role involves collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and community stakeholders to enhance Umpqua Health's visibility, community engagement, and brand awareness. The ideal candidate will be a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with a passion for health equity and community involvement.

Your Impact

Develop, plan, coordinate and execute events including health fairs, community outreach programs, corporate events, and internal company events.Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, equipment, and staffing for events.Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure event goals align with organizational objectives.Handle event promotion through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and community partnerships.Track event performance metrics and prepare post-event reports to assess success and areas for improvement.

Marketing and Communications:Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote Umpqua Health's services, events, and initiatives.Assist in the creation of content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email newsletters.Support the production of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and promotional items.Support the development of press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.Assist in monitoring the effectiveness of marketing efforts, suggesting improvements as needed.Work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.Perform other duties as assigned by management needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization's Values.Your Credentials

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.2-4 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or a related role.Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Experience in the healthcare industry or with nonprofit organizations is a plus.
