We are always searching for new additions to our community that will help us continue to scale, contribute meaningfully to our culture, and advance our strategic direction.Job Summary:Blavity Inc. is seeking a Director, Product Marketing to lead the marketing, positioning and launch strategy efforts for AfroTech’s product portfolio, including AfroTech Conference, AfroTech Connect, AfroTech Insider, and Talent Infusion.In this role, you will define and optimize the customer journey across products, ensuring a seamless flow and enhancing cross-product engagement. You will play a crucial role in defining market positioning and strategy, designing automated systems and communicating product value to both internal sales teams and clients. Your strategic leadership will drive go-to-market success and elevate AfroTech’s impact in the tech ecosystem. If you are a visionary leader with a data & customer-centric mindset, we would love to hear from you.This Director, Product Marketing will report directly to Office of CEO with a dotted line to the SVP of AfroTech & Live Events.Responsibilities:Product Marketing Leadership: Develop and lead the overall product marketing strategy for AfroTech’s product portfolioCustomer Journey Optimization: Define and optimize the customer journey across AfroTech products, ensuring a seamless flow and enhancing cross-product engagement; Utilize customer insights and data to inform product positioning, messaging, and targetingMarket Positioning: Lead the positioning of AfroTech’s offerings in the market, ensuring that each product resonates with its target audience and stands out in a competitive landscape; Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends and competitive landscapeClient Engagement: Act as a client-facing leader, working closely with sales teams to understand client needs and refine product messaging accordinglyData-Driven Strategy: Utilize market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to inform product marketing strategies and decisions, particularly for the Talent Infusion SaaS platformContent Strategy: Oversee the creation of compelling content that communicates the value of AfroTech products, including thought leadership pieces, marketing collateral, and customer education materialsCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Creative, and Product Development to drive the success and growth of our productsProduct Launches: Lead the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring successful market entry and customer adoptionLaunch Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature releasesQualifications:Education:

Bachelor's degree

Required Experience:

5+ years in B2B product marketingStrong understanding of GTM strategies and competitive product positioningProven track record in innovative marketing solutions and campaign managementExpert in client presentations and content creationProficient with Salesforce or comparable CRMsExperience in digital marketing

Preferred Experience:

Sales support or integrated marketing rolesWork experience in sales-driven industries

Technologies: Fluent in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Asana, and/or comparable project management suiteAdditional Qualifications:

Data-driven, technically savvy, with strong problem-solving skillsEntrepreneurial mindset; adaptable to evolving marketing strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to articulate ideas clearly and persuasivelyAppreciation for GIFs and Black culture

Details:This is a fully remote role, U.S.- based role.
