Our client is seeking a talented Marketing Research Analyst for our client in the consumer electronics hardware industry, who is experienced in product management with a focus onmarket and competitive researchwhile closely interfacing with our clients R&D scientists.This role is ONSITE and based in Phoenix, AZ.As theMarket Research Analyst, you will research the status of marketand consumer trends, along withcompetitiveanalysis.This rolewillgather and analyze data on consumers and competitors while studyingconsumer preferences, business conditions, and other factors to assess potential sales of products.
The TOP background for the client is someone with offline user research experience, such as communicating directly with customers in stores, visiting clients, and gathering information at trade shows.
Job Requirements:Collect data on consumers, competitors andmarketplaceand consolidating information into actionable items, reports andpresentationsUnderstandbusiness objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customerspreferencesCompileandanalyzestatistical data using modern and traditional methods to collectitPerform valid and reliable market research SWOTanalysisInterpret data, formulate reports and makerecommendationsUse online market research and catalogue findings todatabasesOffline user research, such as communicating directly with customers in stores, visiting clients, gathering information at trade shows offline user research, such as communicating directly with customers in stores, visiting clients, gathering information at trade showsProvide competitive analysis on various companies market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods ofoperationEvaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release iscorrectRemain fully informed on market trends, other partiesresearchand implement best practices
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degreein marketing, business,communicationsor related fieldCertification in Market Research (CMRA) a plusOver 5 years of experience inmarket research or related role, with proven ability to generate actionableinsightsAbility to work present findings toleadership
Compensation: $80,000
