As we continue to grow through strategic acquisitions and innovation, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketing leader to join our team.

Position Summary:

As an integral member of the Unrivaled leadership team, the Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and sales strategies that drive growth across our portfolio of brands. This role requires a seasoned marketing professional with a proven track record in direct-to-consumer marketing, preferably within a multi-brand portfolio and experiential or event-based industries. This position comes to Unrivaled at a critical time as we grow our brand identity at the parent-company level and optimize the branding and reach of our portfolio brands in both existing and new markets. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with sales and partnerships teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales goals. This leader thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, embodying a passion for our brands and the sports industry, and is adept at identifying business opportunities to foster organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Marketing Function DesignTeam Leadership: Design, build, and lead the sales and marketing team across the entire portfolio of businesses, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives.Organizational Structure: Develop and implement an optimal organizational structure for the marketing and sales teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and efficient workflows.Brand Positioning & Product Marketing

Market Positioning: Develop and articulate clear marketplace positioning, competitive differentiation, and key audience messaging for Unrivaled Sports and its portfolio of brands.Audience Targeting: Prioritize key audience segments, tailoring messaging and marketing strategies to resonate with each group.Brand Development: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure brand consistency across all channels and products, reinforcing Unrivaled Sports’ brand identity and individual portfolio company/program branding.Marketing Integration/GTM Planning & Execution

Campaign Development: Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media channels, ensuring a cohesive brand message.Media Strategy: Support the strategy and implementation of advertising and social media in coordination with the EVP, Industry Relations, ensuring alignment with business goals.Performance Measurement: Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications, optimizing strategies based on data-driven insights.Sales Management & Product Development

Strategic Sales Planning: Collaborate with sales teams across each business vertical to create and activate strategic sales plans, including product development, pricing, and customer segmentation.Customer Insights: Utilize customer data and market research to refine product offerings and ensure they meet the evolving needs of target audiences.Marketing Technology (MarTech)

MarTech Development: Lead the development of Unrivaled Sports’ MarTech stack and digital/data infrastructure in partnership with the corporate development team.Technology Roadmap: Develop and manage a roadmap for marketing and sales technology resources, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of data-driven decision-making.Data Utilization: Leverage smart-data and customer insights to enhance marketing effectiveness, drive personalization, and improve overall marketing ROI.Corporate Communications and Brand Management

Brand Management: Lead the development and management of Unrivaled Sports as a ‘connector brand’Cross-Selling: Develop the strategy, tools, and infrastructure for platform bundling, cross-selling and loyalty/membership programs.Corporate Communications: Working with our partnerships function, develop and execute proprietary marketing, event, and content programs to build the brand and manage corporate communications.CSR Initiatives: Oversee the build-out of Unrivaled Sports’ corporate social responsibility agenda, including the development of objectives and programs that align with the company’s values and enhance its brand reputation.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, related field or equivalent work experience.12+ years of marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on direct-to-consumer marketing, at least 5 or more years in a leadership role.Demonstrated success in managing and marketing a portfolio of brands.Proven ability to develop and execute both brand and growth strategy plans while developing and implementing required systems and processes for rapid growth.Strong adaptability skills, ability to shift between strategy and execution as needed in a fast-paced environment.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.A "business first" mentality extending beyond marketing; the ability to add tangible cross- functional and organizational value.Sound judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.What We Offer:
