Stellar is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent Revit skills and demonstrate advanced proficiency in designing, detailing, and understanding complex Mechanical HVAC and Piping Systems. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics for mechanical systems using Autodesk Revit software for our Food & Logistics (Industrial) projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers and other team members to ensure the accuracy and functionality of designs. Additionally, you will be expected to stay updated on industry standards and best practices to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Utilize Revit software to create detailed 3D models, drawings, and schematics for Mechanical HVAC and Piping SystemsCollaborate with engineers and other team members to develop comprehensive design solutions that meet project requirements and client specificationsConduct thorough analysis and evaluation of design concepts to ensure functionality, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards and corporate BIM Standard Operating ProceduresProvide technical expertise and guidance during the design and development phases of projectsReview and interpret technical documents, construction documents, markups, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirementsParticipate in project meetings and discussions to communicate design concepts, progress, and potential challengesStay updated on industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to Mechanical HVAC and Piping SystemsSupport the implementation and integration of new technologies and tools to enhance design processes and efficiencyQualifications:

Bachelor's or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related field preferredAdvanced proficiency in Revit software with a minimum of 6 years of experienceStrong understanding of Mechanical HVAC and Piping Systems, including design principles, components, and materialsExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectivelyExperience working in the construction or engineering industry is preferredKnowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to Mechanical HVAC and Piping Systems is a plusProfessional certification(s) such as Certified Revit Professional (CRP) or similar is desirableAbout Stellar
