Machine Design Engineering Intern

role in our Verona, WI office for Summer 2025.

The primary purpose of this internship role is to gain experience in the engineering and design of custom equipment for ACS clients. This will be accomplished through working in the core areas involved in making our equipment projects a success. These areas include: an overall orientation to the company, manufacturing of equipment, designing equipment in ProE, and project engineering. There is also potential opportunity for on-site equipment installation and commissioning experience. This role supports our group's purpose to ensure the client's needs for custom test equipment are met or exceeded.

Basic requirements include:Pursuing four-year degree in Engineering or Design at an accredited college or university.Completed 3 years of coursework or have a junior standing.Working knowledge and/or willingness to learn 2D and 3D CAD software.Knowledge of or willingness to learn GD&T and ANSI industry standards.Strong problem-solving skills, organizational, and time management skills.Ability to work well in project team environment, including team player, takes initiative to improve personal and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with all internal and external levels and groups.Ability to travel to customer facilities for client meetings, equipment installation, and commissioning.
