Location: Martinsburg, WV

Reporting to: The Site Engineering Lead

Responsibilities:

Develop capital cost and engineering effort hour estimates • Prepare design requirement documents for new process and manufacturing capital projectsCo-ordinate design efforts located on-site and remotelySupport the power, controls & instrumentation group to execute deliverablesCreate final engineering installation packages and lead bid walkthrough activitiesParticipate in system commissioning, verification, and qualification activitiesPrepare equipment specifications and review equipment to assure compliance with specifications.Prepare design basis, work tender, best value options analysis, cost estimating, and input to project schedulesProvide engineering services during the construction phaseProvide client-focused communication both written and verbal to ensure strong working relationships are fostered with clientsRequirements:

Professional Engineer (P. Eng) License is an assetProficient in English, both spoken and writtenTeam orientated mindsetSolid experience, preferably from working in manufacturing, process and utilities environment.Mechanical and Process Engineering consulting and designProven Project Management ExperienceKnowledge of Solid Works or Solid EdgeProven ability to multi-task while delivering multiple projectsAbility to travel and work in the United States and Canada is an asset.Skills:

Strong interpersonal skillsExcellent communication both written and oralProject management and coordination.Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsProblem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutionsSystems Analysis - Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomesSpecific Areas of knowledge include design experience in manufacturing and automated packaging systems, 3-D design and modelling and machine safety
