Position SummaryMarketing Specialist - Events and Brand is responsible for the planning and execution of organizational events (internal and external) and meetings, partnering with the Chief Marketing Officer, the Creative Director, and the Marketing team to ensure they meet the expectations, standards, and objectives set by the Executive Management team. The Marketing Specialist - Events and Brand is responsible for the setup, execution, break down and evaluation of events that promote Martin's Point Health Care. They will also be executing event activities such as give aways, distribution of informational collateral and other table activities (games/etc.). Additionally, this position, will have oversight of Martin's Point company store and will curate and source a catalog of branded gear for our employees to obtain.Job Description

Key Outcomes:

Plans and coordinates the details of major internal events and meetingsCoordinates with the Executive Management Team and internal staff to establish requirements for organizational events and meetings.Researches venue options, conduct site visits as necessary, and create basic comparative cost analysis for evaluation based on the event's needs and objectivesSupports with identification and scheduling of target events.Attends events such as conferences, community activities, partner meetings etc.Determines the appropriate timing required to travel to/from, set up and execute the event.Prepares material and ordering (as-needed) for events based on the schedule and anticipated attendance levelsTransports the event materials to/from events and ensuring it is maintained.Gathers customer contact information related to our specific products and ensure handoff to responsible MPHC parties.Keeps responsibility for recapping key event details in a timely manner.Manages event budget and expenses to ensure adherence to established budget expectationsMaintains mutually beneficial relationships with existing vendors and research new opportunities to provide more cost effective and creative services that meet organizational goals and standardsCooperates with Organizational Communications to promote and publicize eventHandles any arising issues and troubleshoots any emerging problems on the event day proactivelyAssists with external events as neededCurates and sources a catalog of Martin's Point branded gear for employees and teams that can be populated in the company gear storeServes as the point of contact and oversee the functionality of the company store where branded gear will be housedActs as a point of contact for special-order branded gear itemsEducation/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree preferred.3 years' experience in event planning and execution.Experience working with senior level leadershipExperience with Brand ManagementSkills/Knowledge/Competencies (Behaviors):

Excellent technology skills and proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint, Word and Visio.Demonstrates an understanding of and alignment with Martin's Point Values.Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills both with internal and external customers.Comfort with all levels of management and employeesCollaborative and team orientedEmotional maturityProfessional and calm under pressureAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information in a discreet and professional manner.Demonstrated organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail and meeting deadlines to effectively complete projects despite continuous interruptions.Forward thinker who can anticipate needs and propose solutionsDemonstrated experience with Outlook and multiple calendar scheduling.Excellent administrative skills including editing and composing of emails, letters, etc.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.Ability to prioritize/reprioritize daily work, work independently and complete work in a timely fashion.Ability to work outside of traditional hours when necessary.Proven success in event planning or coordination
