KOLO broadcasts seven hours of news on weekdays. We are also dedicated to serving the community through KOLO Cares, partnering with area non-profit organizations.Job Summary/Description:KOLO 8 News Now has an opening for an experienced executive news producer. The newscast must be produced in an ethically sound manner while maintaining energy and creativity. The executive producer needs to have excellent writing skills, good news judgment, and strong decision-making and leadership skills.The executive producer is responsible for supervising the morning producers and reporters, helping make creative or editorial decisions, updating the website and social media, and overseeing the execution of morning newscasts. This job requires writing content for the newscast and online, arranging stories, and helping contribute story ideas and pitches.
