AWD’s vision is to become the global bulk storage and distribution of choice for sellers globally, by creating a white glove, best in class experience that transforms what it means for sellers to work with Amazon. Not only will managing their inventory and sales channels be easy to do, but they’ll also have complete confidence in their end-to-end supply chain with 360 transparency into how their products are performing, where their inventory is, and how they can save cost while growing their business exponentially. AWD will do this by building a suite of loveable and reliable experiences that power the umbrella suite of supply chain solutions under the Supply Chain by Amazon brand.

The AWD organization is looking for Sr. UX Designer leader to drive AWD’s UX vision through game-changing product experiences that will drive seller acquisition and adoption through seller central, supply chain portal, and marketing experiences. We are looking for an experienced designer that will lead a small UX team, create loveable designs across the portfolio, and raise the bar on the end-to-end seller experience.This person will be the face of AWD UX design for internal stakeholders and engage with all levels of leadership on a weekly basis. This role is highly visible and will be responsible for driving several VP+ and S-team sponsored goals with the ability to make tremendous impact for Amazon’s selling partners over the next three years. As the AWD UX lead, this person will interface with several other strategic teams partnering with AWD on executive-level sponsored projects.

Key job responsibilitiesDesign simple and delightful new experiences for sellers that drive adoptionCreate simple and intuitive solutions to easily understand data and insightsLead a small (1-2 person) teamCollaborate with product, UX research, engineering, marketing, and designers on other teamsCreate design intake and review mechanisms for internal and external stakeholders, and leadershipRepresent the AWD vision and seller with partner teamsCollaborate across Seller Central and Supply Chain Portal UX teamsQuickly and iteratively create wireframes and higher fidelity designsBe a champion for user-centered design and the seller experienceWork closely with engineering in developing scalable UX constructs that can be leveraged across AWD’s portfolioPresent design work to stakeholders and executive leadershipMentor other designers

8+ years of design experienceExperience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in natureKnowledge of usability principles and techniquesExperience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexityExperience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standardsExperience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similarHave an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patternsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and designExperience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey mapsExperience in developing mobile design patternsExperience managing teams

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
