Take the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.JOB SUMMARYThe Field Service Engineer (FSE) would be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of audiovisual, videoconferencing and IT related systems. Thinking independently and working within the specified guidelines with minimal supervision, the FSE will effectively interact with employees, customers, and colleagues, demonstrating the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.Provide technical support of audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT systemsDiagnose audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT related system problemsProactively manage and resolve system auto-generated Service TicketsRepair audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT related systems when possible including re-terminating various cablesProvide remote end-user and concierge AV & IT system supportConfigure and program equipment for various applicationsInterface with manufacturers to identify and resolve issuesMake recommendations as to whether it is better to repair or replace a defective productEffectively communicate and document activities such as keeping records up to date and entering accurate time sheet informationDeliver technical training and guidance to clients as well as Cenero personnelProvide professional customer service including rapidly building technical credibility with clients via superior knowledge and serviceProfessionally represent Cenero with Senior-level clients showing empathy, patience, and competenceClearly communicate complex technical concepts to peers, clients, and managementCoordinate required activities with subcontractors, manufacturers, and Cenero personnel through the required management chainRespond to notifications in a timely mannerPerform the duties of a Technical Service Engineer (TSE) when not dispatched in the fieldAnswer customer requests (phone, email and video) and document this activity in Cenero's databaseProduce accurate and timely service quotes using Cenero's tools and formulasKeep digital records up to date (i.e. service tickets, documentation)Maintain a positive work attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team centric environmentOther responsibilities as necessary or assigned

QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or university in an appropriate field or equivalent on-the-job experienceAt least two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge of various types of audiovisual and related systems including switchers, projectors, Blu-ray players, displays, digital signage, microphones, speakers, etc.General Knowledge of ISDN T1/E1, Ethernet and H.320, H.323 and SIP protocolsGeneral knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, firewalls and AV over IPGeneral knowledge of computers (Windows based) and office softwareStrong attention to detail and organizational skills are requiredMust be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or part of a teamStrong time management, prioritization and both analytical and diagnostic skills are requiredMust possess exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communication skillsValid Driver's License with minimum of 3 years clean driving recordAudiovisual installation is preferredApplicable manufacturer trainings and certifications are preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:CTS General Certification, preferredBiamp/QSC Certification, preferredCrestron Toolbox and CTI-P101 Certificate or higher, preferredCrestron DMC-E-4K Certification, preferredOther applicable industry certifications and training as required.
