The Manager II, leads development and execution of strategic programs and engagements for the:

Oncology Portfolio State Societies (OSS’s)

Market Access Congresses

Congress Project Management:Master Portfolio Congress Calendar

Post congress surveys (Tier 1 Congresses)

Congress identification, execution, and support for the evolving oncology pipeline portfolio

Develop, Execute, and Measure Portfolio Field-Based Congress Resources

This position involves strategic oversight, planning and coordination and tactical execution of congresses, sponsorships, and state society opportunities. Highly cross-functional in nature, this position will require excellent strategic thought leadership and successful support and execution of specific programs and tactics in alignment with brand strategic imperatives as well as Health Care Decision Makers, Health Care Practitioners, and other cross-functional partners.

Major Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and operational ownership of the planning and execution of congresses, sponsorships, and state society opportunities.

Establish process, consistency and transparency into annual plans, opportunities, and execution

Provide oversight and collaboration with key vendors and colleagues responsible for tactical execution.

Oversee and facilitate contact with congress associations regarding Market Access presence (booth, registration, ancillary meetings, sponsorship opportunities)

Lead internal strategy and planning meetings, oversee onsite presence, post program survey, and debrief.

Responsible for sponsorship oversight, budget management, and planning

Develop metrics and feedback mechanisms to the field, regarding attendance and interactions at key events.

Lead quarterly strategy calls with key stakeholders.

Collaboration with internal departments including marketing, sales operations, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, payer/access, corporate compliance, and IT (Information Technology).

Lead projects through the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review process.

Build strong collaborative partnerships with field sales, Brand, Strategic Account Management, Advocacy, Precision Medicine and Diagnostics, Market Access, and other cross-functional partners to execute effective on-label and congress aligned opportunities.
