Therefore, we offer private groups and workshops that provide a safe space to address how societal expectations and conditioning have affected us; as we strive to create a masculine model that is healthy and mutually supportive.To learn more, please go to https://www.positivemasculinitynow.org/about-us to read more about Mac and the team’s stories.YOU WILL:Spend most of your time performing various administrative tasks on the computer.Create and maintain a positive image of Positive Masculinity to the public through social media platforms.Help the marketing team tell compelling brand stories.Assist Positive Masculinity’s founder and CEO in note-taking, organizing, and scheduling upcoming public events.Organize active calendars, book meetings, annotate meetings, and assign special projects to teams upon request.Update, organize, answer, and maintain the email list and storage drive.Occasionally represent the company through public meetings, seminars, podcasts, and online webinars.Handle email responses and attend video conferences on behalf of the CEO.Maintain the confidentiality of information data at all times and adhere to Positive Masculinity’s policies and procedures.YOU ARE:Confident, driven, ambitious, determined, resilient, and consistent.Adaptable to changes in projects and priorities and can handle multiple projects.Excellent in verbal and written communication, email etiquette, the Internet, and proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Drive.Self-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, and organized.Able to work independently with minimum supervision and attend video conferencing meetings whenever needed.Able to collaborate with others.Enthusiastic and grateful to have the opportunity to work with us!YOU WILL BENEFIT BY:Attaining high-level skills and experience that will help you increase your earning potential, reach your career goals, and find more rewarding jobs.Receiving mentoring on your LinkedIn Profile (and thus, your resume), interviewing skills, professional goals, and how to manage your career.Building your professional portfolio.Participating in collaboration sessions with our hilarious creative teammates and team leadership.Being exposed to the behind-the-scenes of a one-of-a-kind start-up company.Gaining access to a variety of training materials on sales, marketing, program management, and other topics, worth thousands of dollars.Receiving a top-notch letter of recommendation and referrals from our Employment Verification team upon the successful completion of your 200-hour internship.In addition, we will gladly help you arrange for academic credit if needed.LOCATION:

This is a remote opportunity which means you don’t have to deal with traffic often or sitting in a stuffy office! You will be meeting with the team via online video conferencing for at least once a week and working virtually for the rest of your work week. You can work in a comfortable environment that provides a reliable and secure internet connection so that you can attend meetings and video conferences.TIMING:

Immediately! Our internships are 200 hours. Each intern is required to work 10 hours a week. If you work the minimum hours (10 hours per week) it will take you 20 weeks to complete your internship.COMPENSATION:

This is an unpaid virtual internship, but the experience and connections you will get for your professional portfolio, and LinkedIn profile are priceless!
