PR Specialist, Seller Experience , Selling Partner Services PR Job ID: 2731359 | Amazon.com Services LLCThe Amazon Public Relations team is seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and savvy PR professional for the role of Public Relations Specialist, Seller Experience. The person who fills this role will be responsible for proactive PR activities and storytelling around the many tools and services Amazon offers independent sellers to help them grow their business and thrive selling in Amazon’s store. This person will work with numerous stakeholders within the Selling Partner Services business to mine for new story angles, identify data and insights to support seller-focused narratives, and drive communications programs and announcements for launches of new tools and services, with a particular focus on AI innovation and support for small businesses. This person will work closely with business partners to provide PR counsel and guidance, drive PR strategy for key business announcements, work in close collaboration with business leaders, and drive messaging and narrative development. The role will also support issues management related to seller experience narratives as needed, helping to manage media escalations while looking around corners to plan ahead for potential issues.This role can be located in Seattle, WA or the Washington, D.C. area.The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can clearly formulate and communicate PR recommendations and plans to both peers and executives, drive collaborative decisions, build relationships internally and externally, and deliver results. He/she will also be comfortable providing counsel and guidance to a wide variety of counterparts crossing a number of disciplines, and will be an expert in clearly communicating complex programs. Additionally, this role will consistently work with a range of media contacts across ecommerce trade and national business publications, and must have strong media relations chops.The ideal candidate will have strong B2B PR experience, a track record of successfully managing proactive announcements with coverage results, and media relations expertise in both pitching proactive stories on a national scale and managing issues and reactive storylines.Key job responsibilities

Lead PR strategy and programs related to the many ways we support seller successProvide counsel to executives and cross-functional teams on PR approaches and messagingManage and guide proactive PR announcements, launches, and narrativesDevelop and manage relationships with a range of top-tier media contactsWrite and evolve messaging and talking points in a thoughtful and strategic wayBuild, guide, and execute PR plans, including communicating plans internally and securing leadership approvalsSuccessfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges, both proactively and reactivelyProactively seek out opportunities to create news moments, and pull together strategic recommendationsHelp manage a third-party agency to support PR activitiesWillingness to represent Amazon as a spokespersonBASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $68,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $147,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
