Golfbreaks by PGA TOUR are looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Marketing to join their fast-growing team in Charleston SC. This role calls for a blend of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and analytical skills to optimise campaigns and achieve measurable outcomes. You will have a proven track record of online and digital marketing, ideally within the travel or golf industry combined with experience in managing successful campaigns across multiple platforms to achieve the commercial aspirations for Golfbreaks by PGA TOUR.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies

Increase brand visibility, engage audiences, and drive conversions across various digital platforms

Drive acquisition and retention strategies that inspire, engage, and connect

Ownership of end to end marketing budget, defining spend across; media, production, activation, digital marketing, content, research, and customer/marketing projects, whilst maximizing ROI

Manage digital marketing agencies (display advertising and search) whilst identifying growth opportunities and creating an overall integrated marketing approach

Work closely with head office marketing team in the UK (and other business functions), to deliver direct customer communications strategies, including commercially targeted eCRM marketing campaigns

Direct the Social Media Manager and agency on the delivery of paid and organic social campaigns

Build and manage a multi-talented marketing team in the Charleston office, to cover all key areas of marketing and deliver results

Build productive relationships with senior internal stakeholders and external agencies, with a strong ability to influence others and effectively lead projects

What we are looking for:

A minimum of 7-8 years multidisciplinary marketing experience – travel and/or golf experience preferred

Extensive experience leading the successful planning, development, and execution of cross-channel and end-to-end marketing strategies

Exceptional stakeholder management, able to develop trusted working relationships across functional boundaries

A natural innovator, demonstrating professional leadership and effectively engaging with others

Experience of managing external agencies to deliver results and drive ROI

A strategic thinker with proven understanding of creating through-the-line campaigns, measuring, optimising, and challenging campaign analysis

Data driven and highly competent in using data to make informed business decisions, and implement marketing activities and strategies

Commercially focused with experience in managing budgets and identifying revenue generating opportunities

Customer focused, able to understand and champion the needs of our customers

Proven experience in managing people and building a strong/positive culture to foster a high performing team
