Job Description Under the leadership and guidance of the Executive Vice President of Staffing, the
Marketing Associate
will develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns and social media strategies to enhance client and candidate engagement and grow brand awareness for The Steely Group. This detail-oriented position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, a creative eye, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, reprioritizing as necessary to meet expected deadlines.

Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Business Development Team to develop, plan, and implement monthly marketing campaigns focused on lead generation.Collaborate with individual Business Development Managers to create highly targeted email marketing campaigns focusing on core services (retained search); specific companies (Venture Capital Firms, VC Portfolio Companies); high-level candidates (Pros to Know); geographic areas (California), etc.Coordinate with Business Development and Recruiting for client and candidate campaigns, referral bonuses, etc.Create, manage, and adhere to editorial/content calendars that include weekly social media posts, thought-leadership posts, visuals highlighting important dates, heritage months, etc.Produce social media content that is fresh, compelling, and engages key audiences, including new job alerts, visual job ads, and specialty posts (heritage months like Breast Cancer Awareness Month; special causes such as Rare Disease Day; and team events including birthdays, work anniversaries, etc.).Engage with candidates (post-placement) to secure testimonials for the recruiting team.Draft staff bios and profile pages for company website.Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field1 year of experience in a similar role or prior internship for a staffing company is preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong social media skills: LinkedIn, Facebook, InstagramProficiency with Microsoft OfficeBasic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Canva)Creative, detail-minded, and highly organized individual with a collaborative, positive attitudeStrong time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task
