With over a decade of expertise, our strategists, creators, and communicators transform brand vision into impactful press coverage, digital campaigns, and events.Curate & Co. is looking for a Public Relations Manager to lead and execute public relations and influencer campaigns strategically. We are looking for someone with proven media relations experience in public relations and a track record of landing meaningful press placements.The Day-to-Day Role:

Strengthen existing media relationships and develop ongoing, strong relationships with clients, industry, and media contacts.Research, plan, deliver, and execute holistic positioning projects and PR campaigns across all relevant media categories including consumer, trade, and business.Copywrite and distribute press pitches and consistent press follow ups.Research and develop vetted media lists.Manage influencer partnerships, deadlines, and content status to ensure influencer partnerships accomplish campaign goals and are completed in a timely manner.Consistently develop event and partnership ideas, with a PR angle, to pitch existing clients on new opportunities in the market.Pitch Curate & Co. and its founder to industry publications and podcasts.Develop new potential client lists and actively pitch Curate & Co. public relations services to land new agency clients.Stay current on industry and lifestyle trends impacting client or agency initiatives.Draft and refine client content in many forms for tailored pitching, social media, press releases, etc.Strategically contribute to new business conversations and networking opportunities. ~10% of the role consists of travel.This is predominantly a remote position, but one to two times per week, the position will be asked to meet with team members at a co-working space in Cambridge, MA, to collaborate on projects.Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Requirements:

What we are looking for:5 - 7 years of relevant public relations and influencer experience.Experience crafting thoughtful and impactful public relations and media strategies and campaigns.Strong client leadership experience.Strong relationships with local and national media contacts in food, beverage, lifestyle, travel, and hospitality.Experience landing coverage for brands and/or clients in top-tier publications.Experience developing, writing, and pitching creative press pitches that result in coverage.Genuine interest and understanding of influencer relations, strategy, contract negotiations, and campaign evaluation.Experience working in MuckRack.Proactive and hungry - you act and suggest without needing to be explicitly told what to do.Fresh ideas and improvement processes.A love of writing and creative pitch copywriting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Able to multi-task and handle tasks for multiple clients/accounts.Thrive on organization and set your own deadlines.Understanding of and passion for the food, restaurant, hospitality, travel, spirit, and wine industries.Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Only candidates with direct PR experience will be considered.Next Steps:If you think you are right for the job, please send your cover letter and resume to hello@curateandco.com by April 3.
