This is your chance and a unique opportunity to being part of our history and future success.JOB OVERVIEWWalmart Connect (WMC) is looking for an experienced integrated marketing professional with either an integrated marketing, ad sales marketing or client/custom solutions background. This position will partner with and service the Sales organization to drive ad revenue, help clients build brand awareness and consideration, engage with Walmart consumers, convert Walmart consumers to shoppers, help transform relationships with suppliers and brand owners from transactional into co-creating partnerships, and provide measurable results for our clients.This complex, cross-functional role will be responsible for development and management of category and client-led integrated campaigns across the Walmart omni-channel ecosystem. This position will directly support Walmart’s advertising sales team and partner with enterprise marketing, retailtainment, site editorial & merchandising teams to conceptualize and create unique, custom, and high-impact marketing solutions for clients.This position sits under WMC Marketing and reports to the Director of Integrated Marketing, Client Solutions – Consumables.Ideal candidate profile :We’re looking for a resourceful connector, strategic navigator, people-oriented professional who is excited to solve business challenges in creative and agile ways determining what needs to be true to move the business objectives forward, with a focus of ‘half glass full’ attitude, serving as a consultant to recommend a mix of marketing tactics based on specific program objectives, to test and learn with media innovation.The ideal candidate has a proactive approach, has experience servicing a high-priority clients and sales organization through persuasive selling story telling business recommendations that are financially viable and sales driven, anchored in sound business strategies, and in category development initiatives and opportunities that unlock incremental sales; possesses strong people skills driving own projects to execution, willing to roll up their sleeves to figure out process and solve challenges in creative and structured ways. They are self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing environment. Organization and project management skills are instrumental to stay on top of internal and external asks.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESDevelopment of custom advertising initiatives for Walmart Connect Clients; Partner with WMC Sales to identify supplier needs, priorities and customer insights.As the most senior position within the Integrated Marketing team, help developing and driving tentpole and category-supplier based strategy, and ultimately responsible for respective department/accounts they/their team support.Develop category and supplier-specific solutions based on customer insights, secure internal approvals, build solution materials and pitch to clients.Collaborate and establish links between Walmart Connect and Walmart Enterprise Marketing, ensuring consistency between Walmart’s supplier advertising initiatives and Walmart’s own customer messaging.Manage the cross-functional connection points, processes, and planning cycles between Retail Marketing, Seasonal, Site, Retail Brand Experience, Integrated Capabilities, and more.Actively facilitate and participate in brainstorming and working sessions across cross-functional teams.Demonstrate a spirit of partnership, collaboration, and operational agility and excellence.Be proactive, self-motivated, and highly driven.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSRelevant bachelor’s degree for this role. MBA (Master of Business Administration) or advanced-level academic degree preferred.Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing or related field preferred with experience working cross-functionally in integrated marketing, ad sales marketing, client/custom solutions, or creative strategy capacity. Digital media experience required.Creative marketer with the ability to conceptualize innovative ideas and new ways of working.Experience supporting Sales organizations and strong understanding of client relationships and framing.People manager known for leading and managing multiple team members with diverse backgrounds.Skilled problem-solver able to navigate the environment/situation appropriately and quickly connect with partners to research and bring forward solutions.
