Chang’s is seeking a Creative Director to lead all marketing creative and design efforts across paid, owned, and earned channels. This role will drive the full creative process — from concept to execution — for campaigns, digital assets, web content, brand materials, menus, photo shoots, and more. As the brand’s creative steward, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage internal and external partners, and oversee the delivery of high-impact print and digital assets that elevate brand awareness and consideration. Key Responsibilities : Own the development of “big ideas”, identifying key insights and translating them into marketing campaigns, effectively communicating marketing objectives across all touch points Guide, develop, present and execute creative design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance our brand strategy Lead, manage and direct the graphic designers in all creative endeavors Manage multiple creative projects and related teams, from strategic conceptualization through completion. Work closely with the Brand Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to ensure the big ideas are on point with the brand, and deliver against marketing KPIs Partner closely with external agency partners and inspire them to deliver strong creative output Redesign our brand book and design guidelines to ensure consistency and evolution in tone of voice. Includes restaurant promotional and in-store materials, collateral, menus, local and regional advertising, websites, microsites, mobile websites and applications, social media platforms, digital menu boards, email communications, and special programs and events Lead all advertising and creative meetings in partnership with the CMO, Brand and Digital Marketing leads, and External Agencies. Produce and direct brand video shoots and manage completion of final videos Direct and manage photography shoots Guide brand teams to develop and maintain brand guidelines/style guides Manage relationships with internal departments, consultants, contractors and vendor partners Develop and oversee the department’s creative development process and cost saving measures, instilling best practices to deliver quality work on time and on budget Partner with CMO to prioritize key initiatives, implement brief-writing discipline and track projects/rework to ensure ongoing efficiency Oversee implementation of digital asset management system throughout the company Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Operations to deliver cohesive, branded creative that supports internal communications and candidate-facing initiatives across the full talent journey. Recruit, interview and hire all creative staff Provide performance feedback, career development and growth opportunities for the creative team Maintain department budgets and supervise financial aspects relating to creative and design Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field from a University or an Accredited Art School required 12+ years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years experience in managing creative teams Experience in corporate in-house department or a mix of agency and corporate Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to build high performing creative teams Demonstrated track record for developing and executing successful integrated marketing campaigns across all traditional and digital marketing touch points – including CTV, Social, Out of Home, etc. Solid background in design -
please submit a portfolio link or attach samples of your work to your application Strong understanding of the production process and knowledge of graphic design principles Strong understanding of UI design best practices, trends and techniques Understands and can communicate effectively regarding UI design, process, methods and rationale Expertise in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premier Pro, etc.) & Figma required. Knowledge and understanding of HTML & CSS desired. Experience using Asana preferred, but not mandatory. Ability to manage multiple projects creatively, efficiently, and thoroughly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Preferred Experience: Knowledge of the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus.
