Job Summary:

A competent sales manager will plan, execute and support all sales and company promotional activities effectively to support company business growth in accordance with executive business plans.

Daily activities can include:

Overseeing all regional domestic and international sales efforts to foster increased business growth of new and existing Spectrum products.

Seeking and responding to new business opportunities.

Responding to existing business requests for quote (RFQ’s) from existing business accounts, including DoD requests for bid.

Overseeing all advertising efforts for Spectrum products, including constant updates to the company website.

Reporting on monthly sales (incoming and outgoing) to keep company management apprised of current and forecasted progress.

Planning and directing the hiring and training of new sales personnel and field representatives as necessary to continue business growth.

Planning and scheduling Spectrum exhibits at all budgeted shows to continue business growth.

Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels with Spectrum products and field support.

Search out new business applications with new or existing sales accounts and continue expansion of existing accounts.

Form and maintain a highly effective and aggressive domestic and international field sales team to foster increased sales growth. Maintain department employee morale at a high level.

Prepare effective presentations for customers and management to present Spectrum products effectively.

Responsible for the continued winning percentage of all proposals submitted.

Work closely with Spectrum Engineering for the initiation and production of new products.

Financial consideration will be based directly upon personal and department performance in accordance with management goals.

Up to 20% travel required.

Evaluation of performance will be based on ability to:

Assist with other special projects and activities as directed.

Interact and work with Customers to ensure complete satisfaction.

Support company policies.

Interact and work with various departments and employees of the Company.

Plan/meet project schedules and assigned tasks. Anticipate and react to changing conditions.

Qualifications:

4 Year Degree in Business or Marketing.

Technical background in manufacturing/engineering of aerospace products.

$120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
