Enhance the brand and provide consistent messaging to employees and stakeholders. Leads the development execution monitoring and measurement of various corporate communications education initiatives and works closely with the other communications teams. Develops and implements complex communication plans for internal and external audiences in support of major projects and initiatives. Manage and track key organizational metrics and analyze the data for the executive leadership with messaging. Project manage ad hoc projects and deliverables as part of the Strategy and Operations team.Job Duties

Creates and executes a communication strategy to support the Corporate Quality Office and Regulatory Affairs across various platforms to act as a vehicle to share information at a corporate level.Communication forums include but are not limited to Company Intranet, company-wide Broadcast, board of directors, investor relations communications and Town Hall meetings.Partners with cross-functional teams to develop and manage multi-faceted and complex communications plans to internal and external audiences that support major QARA projects and initiatives.Builds and strengthens internal communications to help drive employee engagement and culture raise awareness of the Olympus corporate position and story across the enterprise and enhance understanding of Olympus' brand attributes.Partner and develop key materials for the leadership team including the Board of Directors and other internal & external engagements that represent the organization key messages, goals and status as required.Manage and track key organizational metrics and analyze the data for the executive leadership with messaging.Project manage ad hoc projects and deliverables as part of the Strategy and Operations team.Develops and maintains reporting metrics to determine effectiveness of communication strategy impact.Able to translate and simplify complex ideas into short and long written form including presentations and written communications for executive-level engagements.Adheres to all corporate legal and regulatory practices and policies.Job Qualifications

Required:Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, PR or Communications or equivalent required; MBA a plus.Minimum 10-15 years of experience providing leadership in Corporate Communications or Public Relations working for an international Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical company and/or technology in a regulated environment required.Expertise in written communications (writing, editing and proofreading) that accurately and effectively drives understanding and engagement among key audiences is required.Extensive knowledge of communications platforms and outlets required.Since this is a Global role, the individual will be expected to schedule meetings that work for multiple time zones and 25-50% travel should be expected.Preferred:Convert key complex concepts to messages for the appropriate audience.Knowledge of Healthcare industry (e.g., medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare administration, etc.) strongly preferred.
