Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.Serco is seeking a Photographer to support corporate communications and branding activities for a government agency located at L’Enfant Plaza in Washington, DC. In this role, you will apply your professional photography experience and skills in a variety of different settings to capture still photos of people, places, and objects for use in a wide range of corporate communications.Citizenship and ability to obtain government agency clearance are required for this position.In this role you will:Photograph people, places, and objects in multiple settings including worksites, conventions/expos, product unveilings, and executive management meetings/functions across the US.Schedule photo shoots and portrait sittings, coordinating logistics to ensure equipment, subjects, props, and locations are ready.Process images, select and edit images to deliver a finished product.Process RAW photographs, including digitizing, tagging, and archiving photos.Respond to requests for photos for various corporate communications products (e.g., social media posts and business initiative documents).Organize and maintain digital library of illustrations, images, graphics, etc. for easy retrieval.Process and deliver images on time and provide the RAW images with unlimited use rights to customer.Respond to customer requests to research specific photos.Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government agency NACI clearance (fingerprints required).Associate degree (equivalent experience may be substituted).Minimum 5 years of work experience in photography, portraiture/headshots and photo processing.Knowledge of Digital Access Management systems (Extensis), Adobe Photoshop, color management, and printing across platforms.Extensive knowledge of full digital imaging using DSLR and medium-format cameras to capture images.Creativity, outstanding photography sensibilities, and production skills.Strong professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior level executives of a large organization.Ability to work without supervision, manage time, and meet deadlines.Ability to travel extensively, 25-50%.Even better with:Bachelor’s degree in photography or fine arts.
