Read on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.As the leader of a talented team of Communication Consultants (CCs), you will oversee the development and execution of effective communication and education (C&E) strategies designed to engage participants in their workplace benefits and meet the needs of plan sponsors. Your role will include coaching and mentoring team members to excel in client consultations, showcasing our value proposition and recommending tailored C&E solutions.Building strong relationships with internal business partners is crucial, as you will leverage those connections to garner support and address challenges. You will also engage directly with clients to support your team, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. Innovation is key, and you will be encouraged to bring fresh ideas, experiment with new approaches, and lead wide-reaching initiatives that drive success.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Development: Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing team, providing continuous feedback and conducting formal performance reviews quarterly and annually.Culture Building: Foster a workplace culture that values contributions, initiative, and the achievement of results, while recognizing and rewarding excellence.Collaboration: Work closely with other C&E leaders and key business partners to serve clients, participants, associates, and the organization as a whole.Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure satisfaction, manage risk, and maintain quality. Implement action plans and hold teams accountable for achieving results.Regulatory Oversight: Supervise registered representatives to ensure compliance with industry standards.What You BringA Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with 10+ years in the field.2+ years of experience in management or team leadership.Experience in employee benefits communication or financial services is preferred.Required certifications: Series 6, 63, and 26 (Series 7 and 24 are a plus).Strong leadership abilities with skills in facilitation, influencing, decision-making, and team building.Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills, with a background in client service and escalation management.Proven change management experience.A talent for hiring, managing, and developing a diverse team across multiple locations.Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, matrix environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to think strategically and advise senior leaders.The TeamThis role is part of the Analytics, Marketing & Communications team within the Tax-Exempt Market business unit, serving nonprofit employers and their employees. Our clients are mission-driven organizations dedicated to providing benefits that support their employees’ evolving needs. Our Communications team collaborates closely with clients (plan sponsors) to provide consulting, content development, and execution of programs that inform and educate employees about their workplace benefits.
