What are we looking for?

Sr Product Designer - Responsibilities

Actively collaborate and participate in product strategy, feature reviews and sprint rituals in coordination with stakeholders such as Product Management, Development, and other Designers.

Plan, conduct and synthesize user research to generate product discoveries, requirements, and evaluate designs.

Generate and iterate UI prototypes (low- through high-fidelity as appropriate) that effectively communicate design intent to the cross-functional product team and stakeholders.

Lead high-level user-centered design best practices, from interaction design, information architecture and usability fundamentals to accessibility standards, balancing user needs with business goals and technology capabilities.

Develop and help implement design strategy for all stages of a product's lifecycle.

Drive and maintain the quality of design and consistency of deliverables across the design group by defining standard templates and processes.

Lead by example and mentor less experienced product designers in Product Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design competencies.

Design inclusively in full consideration for employees of different abilities and in compliance with applicable accessibility requirements.

Collaborate with all designers and cross-functional partners in the design language for digital solutions by leading the creation, iteration, and development of continuous improvements to digital style guides and pattern libraries.

Requirements

5 years of experience in Product Design, User Experience (UX), or related area.

Bachelor’s degree; or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.

Experience in conducting UX research and synthesizing insights.

Significant, demonstrated hands-on experience with:

Lean UX

Agile product discovery & delivery

Elevating a product experience through design thinking

Demonstrating return on business value

Creating remarkable experiences for guests and employees

Advanced skills in the latest design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch.

Experience with software workflow tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, VersionOne, etc.

Experience in leading the creation of (not just using) digital design systems with a focus on feature flows, and interactive models.

Proficiency in user-centered design best practices in both web and responsive web design.

Fluent with Figma design tool.
