Our team of analysts are all data savvy individuals that share a common goal to answer Sephora’s toughest questions weaving together quantitative and qualitative information into a holistic story.Your role at Sephora:The Sr. Analyst, Promotion Analytics plays a critical role supporting the Sephora business. The person is responsible for answering complex business questions related to Sephora's promotional strategy by leveraging client purchase data, digital data, and competitive insights. In order to answer these questions, this candidate will leverage past experience scenario forecasting, test planning, and deep ad hoc analysis. The ideal candidate has outstanding analytic skills, strong business acumen, and excellent interpersonal abilities. The role resides within the Analytics team and partners with the marketing and business teams to drive Sephora's promotional strategies forward. In addition, you will:Serve as a strategic thought leader as we evolve our promotional programsBuild and maintain a suite of reports that provide promotion performance highlights and insightsPerform ad hoc analysis to answer strategic business questionsLeverage data analysis to influence Sephora strategies through actionable insights and clear stories.Build promotion scenario models to provide insight into the impact of promotion strategy changes.Complete post promotion hindsight’s, evaluating promotion performance against revenue goals and learning agendas.Partner with the promotion and marketing operations teams to build testing methodologies and strategies to provide insight into business questions regarding incrementality, pull forward, and client fatigue.Identify areas of opportunity to improve current analytics communications, reports, dashboards through automations, improved insights, and visualizations.Stay current on trends and best practices in retail & analytics.Demonstrate our Sephora values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative.We’re excited about you if you have:3+ years’ analytics experienceFluency in core analytics toolkit:

Advanced SQLData visualization in TableauR/Python a plusAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Exceptional problem solving and analysis skillsExperience with web analytics tools such as Omniture Site Catalyst a plus.Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriatelyStrong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teamsStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate findings to all levels of the organization.The annual base salary range for this position is $102,160.00 - $127,710.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
