Director of Brand Marketing

to lead our

haircare and hair tools

category. This role is pivotal in driving retailer preference and managing a team of marketers on our priority brand partners.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement category strategies and manage brand to ensure the creation of impactful brand and product launch campaigns in collaboration with other teams using relevant retailer levers (social, sampling, co-op and brand partnership).Collaborate with the Vice President to enhance brand management work across annual planning, webinar planning, brand development, and co-op planning.Manage a team of 4, including 3 full-time employees and 1 contractor.Oversee category management, brand management, sampling, and team management.Ideal Candidate:

10+ years of experience at a Director+ level in brand management/marketing in a consumer-facing business, digital content publisher, or digital agency.Proven experience in a brand-facing role at Sephora is highly preferred.Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate obstacles and generate alternate solutions.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Exceptional organizational and time management skills.Creative self-starter with a positive attitude and a proactive approach.Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively in a highly cross-functional team.Passion for Sephora, our programs, clients, store associates, and marketing.Ability to travel as required – Assume 5-6 weeklong trips per year.If you are a seasoned marketing professional with a passion for beauty and a knack for brand management, we would love to hear from you. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
