Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video, in addition to producing Original content for Freevee, Amazon's premium free streaming service.

We are hiring for a Senior Marketing Manager to develop title-specific go-to-market campaigns for Amazon MGM Studios' Original Series. As a series marketing expert, you will shape the fundamental strategy and work in partnership with functional experts across disciplines to drive the development of tactics across channels that successfully launch and sustain engagement for Amazon MGM Studios' Originals. In this role, you will lead collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, serving as a point of contact on the holistic campaign, sell-through of strategy, and relationship management.

Key job responsibilitiesLead overall 360 marketing campaign strategy and planning for consumer campaigns in support of Amazon Studios Original Series, including defining audiences, positioning, hooks, campaign roadmaps, and the overall communication and engagement strategy.Set the strategic vision for Original Series marketing campaigns and partner with functional experts (e.g. creative, social, influencer, media, partnerships, events, PR, O&O) to develop materials and tactics that deliver on the title's marketing strategy.Act as a campaign leader who inspires and empowers functional experts to deliver best-in-class ideas/tactics at a global scale that generate outsized earned media opportunity.Drive strategic alignment across internal and external stakeholders, including developing and aligning on the campaign strategy, marketing plan, and other cross-channel deliverables.Cultivate positive relationships with partners, studios, agencies, international teams, and other relevant stakeholders.Bring big ideas to the table, obtain buy-in, and implement ideas effectively and efficiently at scale.Monitor performance metrics against goals regularly to understand the effectiveness of strategy and creative, making recommendations for campaign optimizations.

A day in the lifeWhile every day is an exciting set of new opportunities, a typical day as a Senior Marketing Manager revolves around supporting multiple Series launches. This includes developing a series' strategy, collaborating with cross-functional leads on approaches and tactics, or presenting these ideas internally or externally. A significant part of the role is executing marketing plans and overseeing ongoing activity surrounding the global release of a Series. Additionally, the Senior Marketing Manager should be prepared to design presentations for senior leadership at key milestones on campaign development and progress, while communicating externally to Executive Producers and talent to facilitate relationships and ensure alignment across the campaign. Senior Marketing Managers are successful leaders who can adapt to market conditions and synthesize multiple inputs to drive clarity, alignment, and excitement around a winning strategic vision.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experienceExperience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programsExperience developing and executing campaigns across multiple timezones and languagesExperience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partnersEntertainment marketing experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experienceSeries marketing experience with an emphasis in streamingExperience working with Executive Producers, including relationship management and ensuring effective partnership between the series and marketing teamsAdvanced decision-making skills with proven ability to lead, influence, align, and inspire teams, including those who are not direct reportsExemplary project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a demanding work environmentExceptional verbal and written communication skillsOperates with significant autonomyDemonstrated bias for action and willingness to roll up sleeves to get work doneHighly data-driven with a strong ability to use insights to frame recommendations and results into concise and actionable reports

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
