FreelanceDescription: SHADOW is seeking a Creative Director with 10-12 years of multidisciplinary creative experience, preferably working with consumer brands. This is a cross-divisional agency role, responsible for ideating and developing campaign and experiential concepts and overseeing the development of visual assets and design elements for SHADOW’s full roster of clients. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to manage a robust workload in a dynamic setting. This is a freelance opportunity from now through the end of the year with an opportunity for full-time.What You'll Do

Creative Ideation: Develop and design integrated concepts for prospecting and existing clients in collaboration with various agency teams, including social media content, photo/video, events/experiences, digital/web and more. This includes directing the compilation and layout of concepts, moodboards, storyboards, and design mocks for presentation to clients.Campaign Direction: Direct and drive the execution of campaign ideas and production elements across a number of mediums, including print and graphic design, video, motion, and digital/web. Manage teams of creative talent, including in-house art directors, designers, producers, as well as freelance creative talent to support the execution of projects as needed.Brand Identity Creative: In addition to maintaining the integrity of brand identity throughout client work, for other clients you direct the development, establishment or refresh of brand elements and guidelines.Experiential Creative: Oversee the creative direction and design for projects, ensuring consistency with the brand identity and messaging. Lead the conceptualization of experiential projects, ensuring concepts are tailored to the space's specific needs and constraints. Make recommendations on emerging technologies and trends in experiential marketing to enhance activations and drive engagement.Team Management: Oversee, manage and mentor a team comprising associate creative director, art directors, designers, and creative coordinator.Relationships: In addition to building a relationship of creative trust with clients, grow and maintain agency rolodex of creative talent including producers, photographers, designers, directors, illustrators, animators, etc.Requirements:

Creative Vision: You have a distinguished portfolio of creative work that demonstrates an ability to deliver breakthrough creative concepts and executional precision. You specialize in spatial creative as well as photo/video campaign work.Technical Know-How: You are fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and comfortable with video editing and animation platforms, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.Innovative Thinking: You religiously follow design, video, style, and culture trends, and have the necessary context to think unconventionally and deliver cutting-edge work.Leadership: You’ll serve not just as a voice of authority for clients but direct and provide mentorship for a growing team, upholding creative standards of excellence and ensuring the integrity of campaign work.Communication: You can articulate creative concepts, strategies, and the guest experience relating to experiential marketing.Knowledge: You thoroughly understand industry best practices and regulations related to experiential marketing and design and best practices for engaging audiences through innovative experiences.What We Provide
