Responsibilities:Working as a member of a cohesive operations team supporting the Director of Catering and the General Manager to enable event execution. This individual functions as a support to the team as well as sometimes acts as a junior sales specialist and/or Floor Manager.Ensuring all event information in Triple Seat and Open Table from the sales team is up to date and fully detailed prior to event deadlines.Assisting in the setup and execution of events, as well as closing out assigned events.Ensuring all event and pre-event paperwork is assembled for proper communication in a timely manner.Collaborating with the team to ensure proper inventory and cleanliness for event execution and closeout.Maintaining a calendar of events and attending all necessary event meetings and conference calls.Communicating with culinary and operations teams, as needed, to ensure understanding of menus and client needs.Assisting with sales during the initial inquiry process.As needed, assisting in food and beverage outlets in a supervisory role.Partnering with Marketing on social media channels.Driving event sales by actively promoting the restaurant's event offerings. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with exceptional customer service from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up.Working closely with the restaurant management team, BOH, and FOH teams to coordinate event logistics, including menu planning, staffing, and setup. Ensuring smooth communication and execution leading up to and on the day of the event.What we're looking for:2 years of catering/food-beverage and/or administrative/event experience.Basic PC knowledge and comprehension (Word & Excel).Experience with Triple Seat, Toast, and Open Table.
