Join us and let’s create something extraordinary together!In this role you will be performing all technical aspects of the interior design process from project setup to construction administration generally as part of a defined project team. You will be involved in leading the development of design concepts, assisting in design efforts, participating in client presentations, data gathering, space planning, documentation and expanding on your design foundation in healthcare while working on

a variety of other market sector projects.Essential ResponsibilitiesWork with architectural and interior design teams to develop the interior design direction, translating complex programming requirements into schematic design concepts while developing detailed documentation focusing on improving and enhancing the patient experience.Provide thought leadership of interior design development on assigned projects, including research, strategic planning, interview participation, and partnering with the architecture team.Collaborate and communicate effectively and professionally with multidisciplinary teams.Research materials and concepts to advise the design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development and documentation.Utilize past knowledge and experience to enhance the quality of design and improve the built environment.Help coordinate the design work of others to ensure an integrated and cohesive design solution.Work within determined project schedules to prioritize tasks and coordinate the completion of documentation required from the initial design phase through final project completion.Review material submittals and conduct on-site observations.Coordinate interior design data gathering and implement document preparation.About Us:Mohagen Hansen Architecture | Interiors was founded in 1989.

To learn more about our growing, dynamic firm, visit our website at www.mohagenhansen.com .Learn more about us at www.mohagenhansen.com and apply today!.Qualifications Required:The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in interior design from a CIDA accredited program or related experience.At least 5 years of commercial interior design experience with a focus on healthcare planning and design projects, demonstrating a proven track record of successful design solutions with complex, multi-phase projects.Work toward professional licensure and/or certification; LEED AP and EDAC encouraged.Proficiency in Revit, and Enscape, with an emphasis on 3D presentationDevelopment of Interior design planning concepts, materials, and furnishings requirements specific to healthcare projects – including industry-specific concepts, practices, standards, and principles.Experience delivering successful projects which comply with relevant building, FGI, ADA, construction standards, and other related regulatory requirements.Additional software expertise preferred includes Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.Competencies:Demonstrates creativity, passion and interest in interior design and interior architecture.Collaborative and integrative work style valuing all relationships.Thorough understanding of the technical process for interiors projects with a specific emphasis in the healthcare sector.Ability to think strategically, and anticipate client and team needs ahead of time.Works well independently and as a member of a team.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to collaborate and cultivate relationships with clients and co-workers, and a passion for providing mentorship to staffDemonstrated presentation skills.Experience with integrated design, sustainability and LEED guidelines.Desire to be part of a great team and culture!
