JOB SUMMARY

As a Graphic Designer on the Design Team, you will work with cross-functional teams to develop a range of design solutions for assigned brands or businesses. Your primary responsibilities will include creating branded assets for packaging, digital content, style guides, and other marketing materials. You'll lead both print and digital projects from initial concept to final execution, aiming to transform data into a compelling brand narrative. You will report to the Manager of Design.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSCreate exceptional quality design work in a fast-paced and high-output environment.Ideate and present design concepts clearly and concisely (using various tools or sketches).Able to do rapid iterations and make updates based on stakeholder feedback.Able to participate and actively contribute during ideation sessions.While maintaining brand consistency, expand and build upon existing brand visuals to introduce fresh new ideas.Manage and develop packaging design files and style guides.Able to work with various printers, freelancers, and other external partners as needed.Is responsible for the designs and project management (timelines, and milestones to ensure deadlines are met).Regular communication to keep everyone informed.Able to jump from project to project. Comfortable with switching gears and working on various types of projects.Able to quickly pick up new skills or software as the business needs.Comfortable and able to navigate through ambiguity.Ensure proper documentation, archiving, and asset management.Support team members as needed when there is a work surge.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities, as may be required by the business/team.Ability to use office machines and email quickly and effectively.Attending press checks and occasional business trips.Supports the Winner’s Circle and Blistex Quality System processes.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or design-related field.3 to 5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in brand design.Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional graphic design skills, specifically digital ads - still and animated (print experience is a plus).Hands-on experience developing Digital Ads/Content development experience (still and animated).Broad knowledge of graphic design fundamentals and typography, layout, and color expertise.Strong photography knowledge (understanding lighting, angles, and product/lifestyle touchup skills).Software proficiency.

Must be an expert in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Animate, & Premier Pro.Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).

3D modeling/rendering skill is a plus (not required).PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENT

This position requires the individual to stand or walk up to 33% of the time. This position requires the individual to reach with hands and arms 33% to 66% of the time.This position will require the individual to lift up to 10 pounds 33% to 66% of the time.The vision requirements for this position includes close vision of 20 inches or less; distance vision of 20 feet or more, color vision (ability to distinguish between colors), peripheral vision (ability to see up, down, left, right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (3-dimensional vision), and ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).This position has no exposer to measurable environmental hazards or conditions.The noise level for this position will be moderate noise (ex: Business office machines and/or computer printers, light foot traffic).
