LBI is seeking a Business Development Leader with excellent business relationship skills and the ability to seek out, build and maintain the Government and Commercial customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities including though not limited to:

Develop and implement marketing and sales plans for LBI Corp engineering/ manufacturing and LBI Composite products (LBI Fiberglass.com).

Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.

Monitor Government solicitations, find opportunities.

Prepare and submit bids, quotes, and proposals.

Grant writing and/or assistance with preparing and submitting SBIR and other research proposals.

Correspond with or meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.

Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.

Research and build relationships with new clients.

Plan approaches and pitches. Work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and goals.

Participate in pricing the solution/service.

Sales and Customer Service for LBI Corp and LBI Fiberglass.

Attain sales by identifying key customers and developing solutions for their needs.

Develop and maintain Customer and Sales Prospect Lists.

Maintain all Sales and Marketing data on CRM software.

Website, Email and Social Media Marketing planning and execution.

Skills, Requirements:

4 years Business Development and/or Sales and Customer Service experience and/or a degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing. An individual who is a "Quick study" and can quickly learn and understand the key technical point of LBI's products and services.

Proven track record of establishing Sales/Customer Relationships.

Organizational and multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-solving and negotiation skills and the ability to “Think on Your Feet.”

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Adobe Photoshop, CRM software, WordPress, and Fishbowl inventory.

Knowledge of marine systems and composite materials preferred, such as experience with Marine Engineering, Marine Repair, Boatbuilding, Autobody or Composites/Fiberglass Repair/Manufacturing.

On-the-Job Technical and Products Training is available for an applicant with good transferable skills, a positive attitude and the ability and desire to learn.

Benefit package includes 401K, Profit Sharing, Health Insurance, Paid Holidays, and paid time off.

Base plus commission.
