Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.DBR is hiring Structured Cabling System Designers.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the preparation and delivery of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) design documentation including drawings and specification of structured cabling infrastructure that support Telecommunication, Security, Audio Visual and other IP based systems using Revit with and AutoCADPreparing program requirements and basis of design reportsComprehensive coordination with clients, owners, and design team membersFacilitating/Attending design/coordination meetings and providing meeting input and documentationReview and approve shop drawings and product data submittals and responding to RFIsConduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with contract documents, field coordination of installation work; reviewing and analyzing test resultsPerform site surveys; document and submit project field observationsAssist and contribute with project management functionsQUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of experience in structured cabling system design or integration of horizontal cabling, inside and outdoor backbone cabling, building security, access control, video surveillance, and audio-visual systems designGood communication and interpersonal skills and ability to assist with project managementProficiency in Microsoft office applications, AutoCAD, and Revit application softwareAbility to complete construction documents including drawings and specificationsAbility to review submittals, answer RFI’s, and perform field observation
