Men’s Artistic Competitive Gymnastics Team Head Coach – Ballard At Seattle Gymnastics Academy, we operate programs under three types of categories: Play, Learn and Compete. Our Compete program is intended for gymnasts who have already experienced and progressed in our Learn (recreational) program, and have shown interest and aptitude to advance to a competitive experience, and have a coach referral.
You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.We currently have a rare, exciting opportunity in our USAG Men’s Artistic Competitive Program, for an experienced Coach to lead our Boys Team at SGA Ballard.A well-established team, our current Head Coach will work closely with a successful candidate to train, and work in tandem to create a positive transition for the whole team, athletes and coach alike.SGA is committed to an environment that is safe, leads with positive reinforcement, and teaches skills in a progressive manner. A successful Head Coach will have an equal commitment to upholding these standards for our competitive team.SGA offers:A priority for a work/life balance with closures and breaks for most holidays and school breaks.Competitive pay & comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, Health Savings Account, 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, Paid Time Off, Paid Family Leave, and more!Customized training based on your learning style.Free adult classes to focus on your own fitness.Discounts for class tuition and academic preschool enrollment for immediate family members.Energetic work environment with plenty of opportunities for career growth.Creative freedom in lesson planning and tracking skill development.Follows SGA Mission, Vision, and Values.Communicates to front desk and marketing regarding programming.Meets scheduling, attendance, and provides photos and a short written recap post-meet to marketing for social and newsletter use.Continually assesses program for success.Markets and promotes program internally and externally.Supports SGA Invitational Meet.Works with other site Program Directors on overall gym programming and curriculum development.Participates in National Gymnastics Day and supports at least one other event annually.Communicates with SGA parents about their child’s progression.Participates in paid training opportunities including SGA University courses and USA Gymnastics clinics.Assists in light cleaning and sanitation duties.Performs other duties as assigned.SGA is looking for:2+ years gymnastics coaching experience.2 years experience successfully supervising other staff members.All necessary USAG certifications for Men’s Junior Development Program.Ability and willingness to coach a minimum of 20 hours per week.Ability to build meaningful relationships with both athletes and adults.Enthusiastic about working with youth – previous experience is preferred.Experience working in fast-paced, active environments.Ability to resolve any conflict or disagreements that may arise.Desire to promote a positive learning environment for every child.
