The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.We are looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful person who can take a hands-on approach with projects. You're going to be elbow deep in some creative and dynamic work. We are currently looking for an energetic, innovative Technical Director with experience working in a fast-paced environment. This team member must be a problem solver and must be ready to jump in immediately.Responsibilities

Participate in creative development and coordinate/partner with the creative team.Provide leadership and function as a mentor/developer for crew and technical/production planners, promoting Company-wide standards and efficiencies.Meet with the project manager to discuss technical/build ideas.Prepare technical drawings as needed and meet with the creative department to review all technical drawings.Collaborate with the Design team and Project Manager to discuss best practices for project completion.Attend production meetings and be prepared to discuss progress.Demonstrate attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, prioritization, and ability to meet deadlines.Exhibit strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, often under pressure.Show demonstrated leadership, partnering, and strategic planning skills.Be highly motivated, requiring minimal direction and follow-up.Support the creative process by collaborating with all stakeholders.Be flexible with work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and travel.Supervise technical execution of building scenery.Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Themed Entertainment preferred.Proven knowledge and understanding of the operation and artistic application of a wide variety of themed entertainment show systems, methodologies, and technology.Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with entertainment industry state-of-the-art technologies.Proven experience with methods and materials used in Themed Attraction design and fabrication.Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express creative ideas.Bonus Round Robotics and Animatronics experience.Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Theater or equivalent with focus on technical design, construction, and production.Preferred Education

BS or MA in Technical Theater or equivalent with focus on technical design, construction, and production.
