THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: As Director of Business Strategy and Measurement for UB Media, Ulta Beauty’s Retail Media Network, you will serve as key leader on a growing internal media team focused on building our UB Media business. This is a new role for the organization and is equal parts advisor and doer. You will lead the development and execution of the product roadmap, measurement framework, audience strategy, and overall marketing technology strategy. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining the future of our advertising solutions, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of brands, agencies and internal stakeholders. You will work cross-functionally with technology partners, IT, Product, and the UB Media sales team to build scalable, data-driven advertising products and measurement capabilities. Reporting to the Vice President of Media, you will be responsible for leading a talented team and collaborating with internal cross-functional partners to drive business growth through UB Media campaigns. The Director must be skilled in retail media solutions and what it takes to bring them to life. The Director has an inclusive and collaborative leadership style with an entrepreneurial mindset and is excited to discover new ways to engage with beauty enthusiasts to drive growth. You will play an integral role in helping to drive revenue growth for UB Media, a highly visible strategic growth initiative for the organization. YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY: Clearly define and drive the product roadmap for UB Media, including ad products, audience & measurement capabilities, and platform enhancements. Partner with the UB Media product development team to create scalable advertising solutions across programmatic, onsite, social and digital in-store. Identify emerging trends in retail media, ad tech, and measurement to maintain a competitive edge. Develop a robust measurement strategy based on industry standards and brand feedback. Collaborate with sales & account management to align product offerings with client needs. Develop a monetization and partnership strategy to continue to build our offering and maximize our profitability. Represent UB Media at industry events, conferences and client meetings as a thought leader in retail media products, audiences and measurement. Lead, inspire and develop direct reports to foster a culture of growth and innovation. THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: Bachelor’s degree in media, marketing, business, or related field; master’s degree preferred. 12+ years of experience in product management, ad tech, media measurement, specifically in measurement or ad product solutions; Retail Media experience strongly preferred. Must have significant experience in digital advertising ecosystems and measurement methodologies. Experience with media performance analytics, attribution models, and data clean rooms. 5+ years of strong talent management skills motivating and developing high-performing team with people-first leadership orientation. Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to create presentation materials. Both a big picture strategic thinker, and a highly organized “doer,” with a data-driven mentality and a bias towards action. Familiarity with industry standards from IAB, MRC and ad measurement partners. Strong ability to lead through influence to gain buy-in from stakeholders. Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, with the ability to articulate complex strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences. Self-motivated with experience managing through ambiguity. Excellent project management skills with experience managing complexity across multiple initiatives. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent optimizations and highly skilled in prioritization with a strong attention to detail. Travel required up to 20% of the time. The pay range for this position is $136,100.00 - $200,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
