Together, we’re the next BIG thing in data.Responsibilities:Develop the global sourcing strategy for the Professional Services category.Act as Procurement ambassador to the business and integrate into the business to ensure alignment with business goals.Develop negotiation strategies and advise requestors on contract terms and conditions.Monitor cost and scope of assigned contracts to assure compliance and validate/improve pricing.Perform sourcing and contract-related activities for Professional Services and Sales teams.Provide excellent strategic sourcing support to business partners to ensure competitive advantage.Manage supplier relationships, including supplier selection and qualification processes.Drive process improvements and assist with projects related to sourcing and contract management.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in indirect strategic sourcing.Experience with sourcing & contracting ERP tools (SAP and/or Oracle).Demonstrated skills in negotiating and formulating Professional Services contracts.Ability to work in a high-paced dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Excellent team facilitation and presentation skills.Western Digital is committed to providing equal opportunities to all applicants and employees and will not discriminate based on race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, gender, age, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or any other legally protected characteristics.
