Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.We are looking for a technical writer to join one of our large, Redmond-based tech client’s teams. In this role, you will be on a team that supports tools that help build communication platforms. They build documentation for a developer product suite. You will help verify the accuracy of old documentation and write new technical documentation. Documentation will likely have an API and SDK focus, and some knowledge of basic coding is required.
If you are the right fit, you are very organized and can complete writing assignments according to set standards specific to order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. You are comfortable maintaining records and managing revisions. You will confer with clients to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication.
This is a remote, full-time, 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. We'll only be able to respond to applicants who meet the basic qualifications for this role. Required:
5+ years GitHub experience5+ years experience fullstack (documentation for end-end process)5+ years experience and knowledge of any coding language (such as Python, C#, .NET)
Pay rate range, depending on experience level: $42-47/hr. W2.
