As Senior Event Marketing Manager, Security you will lead planning and execution of a mix of 1st party (Microsoft-owned) and 3rd party (Sponsored) events for Microsoft Security. You will lead a team of stakeholders that includes product marketers, sales, as well as agency & production partners to engage security decision makers and practitioners through in-person and digital events. Reporting to the Event Marketing Director for Microsoft Security, you and the Event Marketing team will help drive perception, create deep customer engagements, and influence the sales pipeline. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.ResponsibilitiesOrchestrate priority online / in-person event programs for Microsoft Security to create memorable experiences for key audiencesLead planning, execution, results tracking & reporting for multiple eventsDrive alignment across internal stakeholders and agency & production partnersDefine event goals and scope of presence for each event propertyIdentify opportunities to expand presence and audience engagement through ancillary event activitiesWork closely with the Narrative, Thought Leadership and Product Marketing Teams to define messaging and content featuredWork closely with Demand Generation teams to build event audienceAdvocate for Microsoft Security to be properly represented among other CSAs (business units) at 1st Party eventsMaintain relationships with 3rd party conference organizers and manage sponsorship contractsDrive innovation and best practice, maintain awareness of event industry trends and competitive execution.Travel for events across US and globally, ~25%Embody our culture and values
